If you have a real fire, stove or woodburner you may have heard the fluttering and flapping occasionally. When birds land on the chimney, the sound can travel down the chimney void and into the room.

But what if you hear this sound a lot? I t could mean that a bird has got itself stuck in the chimney stack or it could have even made a nest in there.
